An Evening under the Stars

Mark your calendar for Sept. 17, the date of our fourth annual benefit gala, An Evening Under the Stars. The event, at Marie Mitchell’s lush Italian estate, Palazzo di Migianella, features a gourmet dinner, silent and live auctions and performances by symphony musicians. Italian tenor Pasquale Esposito returns to present an exclusive, private concert for our guests, and Dave Bender, weather anchor for CBS 13 News, will serve again as master of ceremonies. Tickets are $300 per person and attire is black tie optional. Premium seating and sponsorships are available.
Esposito, acclaimed for his rich, pure tenor, wowed the audiences of two symphony performances last year with his beautiful voice and personable humor. His voice has been compared to that of the 20th century’s great tenor Enrico Caruso, whose music Esposito sang in the recent PBS special, “Pasquale Esposito Celebrates Enrico Caruso.” Esposito is also performing to rave reviews on his U.S. “Voice of a Legend” tour.

Your generous support of our gala enables the symphony to offer music programs for youth and invite stunning guest artists to each concert. Past funds raised through the gala have provided free and low-cost family concerts, Student-Night-at-the-Symphony for grades 4 through 12, Music in the Schools and opportunities for student performers to play with the Symphony.
